yeah! my aunt and uncle were actually way into spirit boards - they had one of those high-end $300 Walu brand ones made of polished oak. the whole thing was pre-treated in these special oils so that in the dark it appeared to be this deep, rich lavender color, and each of letters were hand-painted in this incredible bright yellow script

i can’t even tell you how much time i lost as a kid playing in the attic with that Walu Ouija board
